Listening: I am SO tired of listening to the rain. Tomorrow I might be listening to SNOW, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
Loving: I am SO glad that I found the Whole Brain Teaching movement. It has revolutionized my class, and re-energized my teaching. Love Love Love.
Thinking: My little baby just turned one this week! I've got lots of clothes in his drawers, and in my older two kids' drawers that don't fit anymore. I haven't gone through them in a while. This is always one item in my To-Do list that gets pushed to the back, behind everything else I have to do. My goal is to have it done by the end of the weekend...we'll see!
Wanting Need I say more??
Needing: Yup, you read right. I need to keep working on lesson plans for next year. Our science department is realigning all of our science curriculum with the new Next Generation Science Standards that were just released in their final draft. So even though this year isn't done, I'm already working on next year's plans.
Advice: I recently learned how to link my blog to my Twitter account, so everytime I post it's also posted on Twitter! I love it! I know, this is probably old news for most of you, but it's new to me! Follow me on Twitter @MeadorScience.
Thanks to Farley over at Oh- Boy 4th grade for the Currently Linky!
Um really? Lesson plans for NEXT YEAR - I am a slacker if you are working on next year...it's almost Friday & I'm finishing up next week!! You ROCK!
ReplyDeleteWBT is great...even my Kinders respond to it - I have my sister to thank for that!
I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous, doesn't it!! We are aligning our curriculum with the new Next Gen science standards, and swapping curriculum between grade levels. SO yes, we are working on NEXT YEAR already. My brain may explode at any minute!
Deletethanks so much for linking up... and the whole link to twitter thingy is new to me...thanks :)
