January Currently

Here's my January Currently from Farley.

I am listening to another episode of The Sons of Anarchy on Netflix. I started with the first season two weeks ago, and am already up to season 4. It's gruesome, and violent, and sexist, and horrifying, but I love it, and I can't get enough of it! And it's actually a show that my husband and I both like to watch lol, which doesn't happen very often.

I'm loving that it's winter vacation. I have four days left! Lots to do!

I think that, as always, Christmas came and went too fast. So much planning, and then it's done in ten seconds!

I really want to start freezer cooking again. My goal is that I can go to the store ONCE at the end of January, and do a one day cooking, packing, and freezing so that my meals for February are done. I follow a few blogs that have inspired me to try this again. I did it once in August of last year, and just never did it again. Too much going on I guess. But one day of shopping, cooking, and freezing really helped save time in the long run.

I need to finish this post and start cleaning my house! So here I go!

:)

  1. Hello! I have never done freezer cooking but can imagine it will help on those hectic days. Good luck with that cleaning- I try to avoid it at all costs!!

  3. I'm glad to have found your blog. I'm super interested in WBT and am excited to hear all of your good ideas!! :) Surely there's something from middle school that I can apply to my kinders, right?! ;) Enjoy your last few days of break. We went back today and I am tired! lol

I'm also hosting a linky party and I'd love for you to check it out. It's a little different than the standard link up...but totally worth it. ;)

  4. Found you through the "Currently" linky - great blog! I am a middle school home ec teacher, thus am a HUGE fan of freezer cooking! Over the summer we moved to a new house which gave us a garage with enough room for an extra freezer, and I have been taking full advantage. While I haven't organized myself to the point of going a month without cooking, we always have good meals for lunches and nights when cooking is just not possible. I'm also beginning to learn about WBT and find it very exciting - oh, if only we had unlimited research and plan time to learn and implement all the stuff we are inspired by!
